I don’t use this eyeliner very often, so I don’t actually expect that I’ll finish it and buy it again, but I’m still pleased that I bought it the first time around.
This eyeliner is of very high quality as one expects of Chanel, and of the price you’ll pay for it. The color is lovely, and I think it would be complementary to many eye colors. My eyes are somewhere in that green/blue/gray range, and the sea-foam eyeliner looks great on me. I think it would be quite attractive on brown or hazel eyes as well.
This eyeliner isn’t as long-lasting as the Le Crayon Yeux in black, but it has a pretty, shimmer finish, and similarly to the black formula, it glides on very smoothly. Because of the light color, I don’t mind that its texture is easily smudged, because this allows you to blend it into your eyeshadow.
The blending tip is handy for evening out precise eyeliner application or for creating a more smudged, or smoky finish. Like all Chanel eyeliners, it comes with a nice sharpener. One problem though is that the cap of the eyeliner can come off in your makeup bag.
This is a fun product, not a must-have or a staple. I’ve been trying to experiment more with greens, so this was a good buy for me.
