DSC00067.JPG (199 KB)I can’t say enough about how much I love this product. This is one of my first purchases from MAC and I have been using it for years. I have oily skin that is very acne prone but this product did not break me out. It is a foundation powder that be used for sheer to full coverage. It never feels heavy on my face even though I use it for full coverage. I love that its perfect for my on the go lifestyle. If I take a blending brush and dab it over any blemishes or redness I have before applying to my whole face, it nearly completely covers them up so I even skip using concealer on some lazy days. I also have dryness near my eyes, sometimes on my cheeks, and this powder does not make it worse or look cakey over it. I live in NYC, where the summer days are hot and humid. I also take public transportation and let me tell you, subway stations are extremely hot and humid, yet this stuff does not melt off my face. I do touch up about twice a day because my oily skin gets shiny on my tzone. I think the amount of product for the price is wonderful, I’d say the compact can last me 6 months at the longest. I really adore the packaging. It comes with a little sponge in the bottom and a mirror to use for touch ups which is great! I usually dispose of the sponge after I use it once on each side to touch up and just put another one in. Its unsanitary to use the same sponge and if you have oily skin and dip the same sponge in the product, it will create a solid film you will have to scrape off which is also unsanitary and wastes product. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a foundation powder that will last all day, give you full coverage without being heavy, if you have oily skin, and if you are looking for something reasonably priced.
