tarteconcealer.jpg (19 KB)The top part of this product is a cream concealer, while the bottom is a setting powder- both are a yellow color to neutralize redness. I bought this ultimately for the eczema on my cheeks and redness around my nose and I’d have to say I’m pretty impressed.

It uses their proprietary “ARPM” (anti-redness peptide matrix) to decrease a certain protein that causes redness and inflammation. Both the concealer and the powder helped calm down the eczema and covered it well enough to make it look like I originally had no redness to start off with. My only problem I would have to say with this product is that the powder is great- way better than Clinique’s Redness Solutions Instant Relief Powder in my opinion. However, the concealer takes some time getting used to. It has a strange type of consistency (that could be well because of the always changing Californian weather) that isn’t either creamy nor liquidy making it hard to blend out.

This product is definitely well worth it, just takes a wee bit of time getting used to.
