Review: Tarte Double-ended Lip Gloss in Westley & Buttercup

This is technically two lip glosses in one, and the names (mine being a reference to the fabulous movie The Princess Bride) are adorable. One side is a pink with slight shimmer, and the flavor is sweet and candy-like – quite delicious. The other side is a shimmer-less peach. The scent of this side is a bit odd to me, and I’m not the biggest fan – I only use the pink side now. While this product is certainly shiny and easy to use, it is very sticky and so sheer color-wise that the pink and peach, including their differences in shimmer, aren’t visible at all on the lips.

Overall, I love the name and like this product enough to use it, but I wouldn’t purchase it (the one I have now was a gift), and I would definitely skip it if you have a yummy clear gloss that you already love.
