Review: Tarte Natural Cheek Stain in Tickled

This stick-style stain, the stick portion of which you rub with fingers, then rub/blend onto cheeks, imparts a very natural flush. While some of the shades look quite different in their packaging, they differ much less (though they still do differ) on the cheek. This particular shade is a lovely sheer reddish berry. Blending was relatively easy, and the pigmentation was good (don’t use too much!), but there was a slight tackiness left on the cheek that I was not too fond of, though it eventually went away. I also notice that this product makes you rub the product into your cheeks, which inherently reddens them and makes it difficult to know how much stain you’ve put on until your skin gets back to normal. Overall, I love the natural “just did some exercise” flush, and would repurchase.
